Fox News Reports On Aftermarket Parts - ALARMING
This is quite alarming to see the difference between the OEM parts and the Aftermarket parts in this video. I can understand how this could affect the structural integrity of the vehicle and the safety for the passengers. I have used some aftermarket parts, and I was able see the difference between them and OEM parts. However, I did not realize some of the structural parts, as the part demonstrated in the video, could be that much weaker. I think the key to find a good source for aftermarket parts if you are going to use them, as they are not all equal in quality.
Let's Hear From You...What Experience Have You Had With Aftermarket Parts? Any Suggestions or Advice For Others?

The part in this video was damaged prior to the demonstration. A support bar was routed out of the part and then the part was bent. What a fraud! Aftermarket parts are safe, more reasonably priced and have good warranties. If aftermarket parts were not available, you would pay through the nose for repairs!
